The Wake Forest clinical trial has been cancelled and replaced by one at another location and I have left some comments there.

Obsolete Donor Letter (but see the links below)
The purpose of this letter is to bring to your attention a new experimental cancer therapy that is ready to enter clinical trials. This novel therapy is different from many toxic cancer therapies since it uses the natural immune cells from selected healthy people to treat cancers and is not expected to have toxic side effects. This new therapy is developed by a large team of cancer researchers led by Dr. Zheng Cui at Wake Forrest University who is well known for his research in natural cancer resistance in laboratory mice and humans for last 10 years. Dr. Cui outlined his highly promising approach to curing cancer in humans, at a UCLA conference last year. You can view his presentation at the following links:

Conventionally, a new cancer therapy will take many years to get accepted by the research field and get funded by regular cancer funding agencies. However, this novel therapy can be immediately tested in humans since it utilizes the existing clinical and technical setups for white cell transfusion and only adds the element of how to select the most effective donor white cells from carefully selected donors. A close and trusted friend of mine is working, with Dr. Cui, to establish a charity to raise grassroots funding for human trials testing this therapy much earlier than it would otherwise be funded by conventional funding agencies. We believe that if all cancer patients each donate just a few dollars, we can have enough funding to support the clinical trials to test this new therapy. One trial has already been set up in Florida and received all necessary approval from federal and institutional agencies and is ready to go pending on funding. The sense of urgency for doing this trial is due to the fact that more than 600,000 Americans each year are running out of conventional cancer treatments. The only hope for them is some thing new and significantly different.
Dr. Cui’s revolutionary insights into cancer arose from experiments in which he injected test mice with a strain of cancer cells so aggressive that it killed 100% of the mice. Inexplicably, one of the mice would not die. This serendipitously found mouse, and its descendants, served as the platform that demonstrated that some mammals possess the genetic ability to resist cancers.
As Dr. Cui studied these “SR/CR” (Spontaneous Regression/Complete Resistance) mice, he narrowed their cancer fighting ability to a subset of white blood cells known as granulocytes. Dr. Cui then experimented by transfusing these granulocytes into non-resistant mice afflicted with cancer, and found that the Granulocyte transfusions helped these mice to also become resistant and become cured of cancer.
Dr. Cui theorized that a similar cancer resistance could be found in humans. The September 22, 2007 issue of New Scientist Magazine describes Dr. Cui's findings:
Cui took blood samples from more than 100 people and mixed their
granulocytes with cervical cancer cells. While granulocytes from one
individual killed around 97 per cent of cancer cells within 24 hours,
those from another healthy individual only killed around 2 per cent of
cancer cells.
In short, there is strong evidence that some humans possess the same type of cancer resistance as found in the SR/CR mice. Furthermore, it appears that a simple transfusion of Granulocytes from cancer resistant humans can help non-resistant humans to also fight and defeat cancer.
This approach has actually already been tried on a terminally ill cancer patient outside the US. The patient has now survived several months longer than his doctors predicted in late 2008 even when the treatment was done under suboptimal conditions. Although Dr. Cui would be the first one to point out that this is not scientific proof that his treatment works. It is promising nonetheless.
The finding that granulocytes can kill cancer cells was surprising since granulocytes are traditionally thought as killers of bacteria. Dr. Cui studies showed that cancer cells can be sorted out and killed by granulocytes in a mechanism very similar to how bacteria were killed. Granulocytes are the most abundant type of white blood cells in the human blood and can be readily and frequently extracted from healthy donors for treating patients. Dr. Cui’s findings also challenge the conventional thinking in cancer immunotherapies that mainly use self T lymphocytes after manipulation or vaccines to treat cancer. Clinical evidences have shown that these existing immunotherapies are not very effective. The new experiment cancer therapy is drastically different from all existing cancer therapies including immunotherapies.
Why isn't everyone doing this NOW? The problem would appear to be that that simple blood transfusions are not massively profitable for pharmaceutical companies in the way that new drugs are massively profitable. The procedure is relatively simple, and with proper training, can be administered at most medical facilities. As a consequence, Dr. Cui is struggling to secure the $3 million funding he needs to run human trials in the United States. I encourage you to watch the video, and to research Dr. Cui’s work on the internet. Dr. Cui is passionate about finding a cure for the scourge that is cancer and I know that your family is too.
If you would like to obtain more information, please call Damian Crowe at 949-244-2862. He is the CEO of Genescient Corporation, a biotechnology company working on the diseases of aging. Damian is the friend I mentioned at the beginning of this letter, who is working to establish a non-profit to fund Dr. Cui's clinical trials. Damian can arrange for you to speak directly with Dr. Cui.
If we are able to raise the funds needed, the clinical trials could begin right away and should yield preliminary answers in very short order. If the trials revealed immediate benefits, the non-profit would immediately begin work on making it possible for additional patients to receive the treatment.
We are reaching a critical point in the timing of the trials. An important component of the treatment is the fact that humans' immune response increases during spring and summer. Your generous financial assistance will help us to get the trials started in time to take advantage of this limited window in the Northern Hemisphere.
A cure to the scourge of cancer is tantalizingly close, please help us
to defeat this dreaded disease. Please call me today and find out
how you can help.
Yours sincerely,
Sandy Rheinburger
